Wow. So good. We almost got one of everything simply because it looked so good and we were so glad we did because everything we got was amazing. We came in with a local who recommended a few specifics but everything we had was so good. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Asal Pastry is, without a doubt, the best bakery in Irvine. The Halva was sweet and soft, melting right in my mouth, and the pastries were light, flaky, and perfect. If you're looking for unique Persian sweets, this is the place to go.

MOLDY FRUITS on top of DRY sponge cake soaked in syrup. I donโ€™t understand what kind of cake can be both spongy looking and taste like wet cardboard. Do yourself a favor and buy your cake ANYwhere else. We bought a big cake for my dad s birthday. When we cut the cake, there was brown oxidized banana slices in the middle. The fruits on top look good only on the top because of the gelatinous sauce, the bottom is covered with white and gray mold! Even the green grapes are brown and mushy on the bottom and you know it takes a few days for grapes to go mushy! We called the bakery the next day they rudely denied they sold us an old cake! They said they make their cakes every day! Look at this cake and tell me if itโ€™s fresh! You decide by looking at the pictures I posted. We are gonna throw the rest of the birthday cake away for our own health since they tell us no refund even if we bring the cake back with receipt. We unfortunately served 3 people before we realized the fruits were moldy. We are never coming back for anything when a business is not trustworthy. I get it, mistakes happen so if you sell us an old fruitcake just make it right.

We bought some halva From this bakery for my grandmaโ€™s funeral, And they gave us old and nasty product, And when I called to Inform them they were very rude and unprofessional, And they told me the reason the Halvas were old is because we did not place the order before hand, and they only had their left over, When I ask for credit, they said I have to bring the halvas, so they can count to see how many of them has been eaten. When I ask to talk to the manager, they said they donโ€™t have a manager and there is an owner and the owner is not taking any call for complaints.
