2 weeks agoThe baklava is absolutely amazing! I recently returned from a trip to Greece and Turkey, trying my first baklava in Turkey, and this pastry that Baklava King makes is top shelf! Love it!!

5 months agoFirst review Iโve ever written in my life, but theyโre worth it: my fiancรฉ and I bought the big baklava rolls at a cafe near our house for years and loved them. One day, we saw them restocking them, and saw the name, and the rest is history. Iโve been buying boxes from these guys in bulk for years, and usually buy one of the $30 or $50 boxes as gifts then we keep one in the house. The king and his queen are exceptional people who always give you a little free gift of baklava whenever you stop in. Itโs been a loving relationship for years and I hope it never ends.

5 months agoMy family have been a loyal customer for years. My dad has probably ordered from them over 7/8 times. He asked them to ship our most recent order through FEDEX because I've have bad experiences with USPS in the past. The owner said the he was going to ship it through USPS as they do a great job. Rather than listening to us in the first place he proceeded to ship it with USPS. My package never arrived spent over $100. USPS said they were returning the package back to Baklava king due to not being able to verify the person lived at the address even though the address on the shipping label was correct and so was my name. I called baklava king to tell him the situation and rather than be understanding he refused to help or be accommodating of the situation. This type of customer service is extremely distasteful and as a buisness they should be more understanding to the customers. He also said "You want us to take a loss". What I can't understand is how a business can tell a customer we won't take a loss and essentially tell me as a customer to take a loss. He basically said sorry we won't send you a new order and you don't get anything and that i guess u get to take a $140 loss. I love their baklava and I've ordered probably over $1000 worth of it from them over the years. I can't however understand how a business can be as unapologetic as them. Extremely disappointed and they just lost a loyal customer.

5 months agoAs a Turkish person myself, I was having trouble finding quality baklava in SD area. That was until a friend of mine shipped me some baklava from this place for my birthday. Game changer! This is the way baklava should be. Quality ingredients, freshly made, perfect balance of sweetness and crunchiness. Not the stuff you get from the mall - over-sugared and dry. Thank you Baklava King!

4 years agoThey are not the best baklava in the USA, they are the best baklava in the world. I visited Turkish baklava makers in Berlin and even went to city of Antep, the birthplace of baklava. The taste, the consistency, the addicting flavor that hooks you up - nowhere else offers this but Baklava King. They are made to order, so it is not like any of the baklava you would find in supermarkets that are dry and days old. America's finest city is the home to world's finest baklava.
