a year agoI recently worked with Smith & Associates real estate agent Connie Gage on the sale of my condo in Tampa. I bought the condo in 2007, lived in it for 4 years, rented it for 8 when I moved for work, and have used it as a vacation residence for the past 4 years. I really loved the property but it was time to move on. This is all to say that I really wanted to work with a realtor who would 1) skillfully and professionally manage this process because I live so far away (upstate NY); and 2) understand and appreciate my feelings about the property and the sale. Connie far exceeded my expectations on both counts. She is experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate in Tampa, extremely well-connected, unflappable (at least as far as I knew!) when issues arise, and very empathetic and kind. There were a few bumps in the process (FL real estate can be a wild ride these days), but I felt totally supported and guided to a positive final result. Selling a property from afar could have been an extremely stressful, uncertain process, but Connie's exceptional communication and reassurances relieved me of the stress and allowed me to pass a beloved property on with a sense of peace. I could not have asked for a better experience with a realtor. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Connie Gage's skill as a realtor and character as a human.
