Founder Rafael Nasr started Craft Pita because he believes in sharing culture through food. Rafael was born and raised in Houston as a first generation Lebanese American. His childhood summers were spent visiting his grandmother’s home and olive oil grove in the mountains of Lebanon. There he learned the key components of Mediterranean food: freshly pressed olive oil, fruits and veggies from the garden, freshly baked bread from the local baker, and humanely-raised meat.

3 months agoI ordered the half chicken online to-go and was told they only had 1/4 chicken left, but they could start the half if I really wanted it, it would just take an extra 30 minutes. Understandable and as I wanted the half chicken, I opted to wait. Pretty good decision because the rotisserie chicken was yummy. The skin was nicely crispy (although slightly missing on my leg piece) and the meat was juicy. It could have had a little more seasoning to amp up the flavor, it tasted like a juicy chicken but not necessarily like anything unique, and I do feel it was priced a little high for what you getโฆ but itโs not the worst thing. I had the hummus on the side that was very creamy and I appreciated the olive oil and pine nut topping. Clearly I started chowing down before I remembered to take a picture!! The pita was honestly like grocery store quality in my opinion so I would rather have had the choice of adding rice instead of dry bread, but again not really worth knocking points down for a fresh and good meal.

a month agoThe food was delicious, and the place had a lovely atmosphere. I had a hummus bowl with falafel that was very good and the portions sizes were generous. The service was great as well.

a month agoFood was great! I had a gluten-free chicken pita sandwich. I donโt regret getting that, the gluten-free pita is legit. The hummus was okay. However the language barrier with the cashier led to them selling me more food than I was ready to eat and I ended up wasting my money and their food in the end. The inside has a small amount of seating but they did well with their space.

a week agoI AM SO IMPRESSED! I got the chicken pita wrap with a side of hummus and pita chips, Iโm a huge Mediterranean food lover and I have to say I thought the food here was delicious. The place itself was very nice and clean and staff was diligent. Itโs perfect for a quick lunch, Iโll definitely be back!

4 months agoThe chicken in the rice bowl was cooked to perfection and flavor profile was on point. Portion sizes were enough for everyone. The orange blossom tea was delicious as well. Will probably be a regular spot for our family
