a month agoToday, I had a wonderful lunch at Crimson Mediterranean Cookhouse in Santa Monica. The meal was fantastic! The flavors were rich and authentic, capturing the essence of Mediterranean cuisine perfectly. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. a month agoI thought the food was pretty mediocre. The sweet potato fries were served in a cup that collected all the steam from the heat and made the sweet potatoes super soggy. The chicken kabob was okay--nothing exciting. The baba ghanoush was good--probably the best thing on my plate. The garden salad was okay. Overall disappointing and I can't say I'll return.

3 months agoNever been so disappointed with the food. We ordered the shawarma plate and spicy falafel wrap. The shawarma plate was big, but there was absolutely no seasoning, spice or anything kinda flavor. The spicy wrap was not spicy, cold and sooo big to even eat it. The fries were so overdone. The only thing I enjoyed was the lentil soup which was hot and tasty. For the price, I would go somewhere else. I will not recommend this place. There is plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, the ambiance was good.

2 years agoFabulous local eatery with quality food and a wide assortment of options. Vegetarian friendly and very large menu. Personally I really enjoyed the kale salad, falafel with hummus. My friends and I enjoyed a meal together, sitting outside. The staff were helpful and checked in on us especially when it started to rain a little.

a year agoUpdate, so good I came back for round two! Two more gyros. Best gyros/wraps/shawarma I ever had! Got the dark meat chicken and the serloin? Both were excellent. ๐ฏโค๏ธ the sides were great, loved the tabouli and dolmas. Crazy homeless guy accosted me outside but I just tucked my order under one arm like a football and ran him over Heisman Trophy style. ๐๐ช๐ผ
