CROSSROADS KITCHEN
In March of 2013 I opened Crossroads at the corner of Melrose and Sweetzer in Los Angeles. We are proud to serve mouthwatering Mediterranean meals in a refined environment. Crossroads is not what people picture when they think of a vegan restaurant.
With upscale décor and lighting, we are the first plant-based restaurant in town to have a full bar with an inspired cocktail program. There are no obvious vegan cues and most guests don’t even make the connection that the menus is plant-based, they just know that the restaurant is comfortable and the food is satisfying and delicious. Crossroads is defined not by what’s missing, but by what it is.
Crossroads is an intersection where vegans, flexitarians, omnivores and meat eaters can cross paths to share a delicious meal and a good time. We believe great food should be enjoyed by everyone!

3 months agoThe service is second to none. The candlelight atmosphere is great for an intimate gathering. Their cheese plate was small but very delicious. I don't know what they put in their Brussel Sprouts, but I was craving for more. The two drinks we got were well balanced, and the flavors were rich. Now the pizza and the pasta we got was a bit dry. It just needed more sauce, but outside of that, I highly recommend it.

3 months agoHands down my favourite dining experience in LA! We visited LA for my birthday and had such a lovely time here. The food was delicious and my non-vegan husband had high praise for it as well. We had the stuffed zucchini blossoms, roasted honeynut squash, eggplant shortrib, and spicy rigatoni vodka. Timing was perfect, staff were attentive, and our server went out of his way to include a giant sparkler with our dessert. Would highly recommend and we’ll be sure to visit again when we’re in town!

2 months agoWhat a beautiful beautiful meal !! The eggplant short rib was incredible. The service was amazing, I have the world most annoying food allergy for a plant based diet -coconut and the server Micheal went out of his way to keep me safe. We had a beautiful meal and ordered way too much food. Sad we didn't manage dessert but next time we are in town it's top of the list.

a month agoIt was my fourth time eating at Crossroads and I’m still so impressed. This is truly some of the best vegan food out there. We tried the Artichoke Oysters, Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Baked Mushroom Scallops, Kabocha Squash Agrodolche, Truffle Mushroom Bianca Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara, Mafaldine Cacio E Pepe and Fettuccine Truffles. Over the years I’ve sampled most of the menu and you can’t go wrong with anything. Standouts including the Carbonara (I order this every time), Zucchini Blossoms, Mushroom Bianca (also a repeat). For dessert we enjoyed the Lemon Tart and Brownie Sundae. The Lemon Tart was indescribably delicious. Service is always impeccable. I can’t wait to return!

2 months agoA great example of how far vegan cuisine has come. The move is definitely to get family style and share everything with the table. The pasta dishes are delicious, you would never know they were any different than the standard. Cacio Pepe especially was a stand-out for me. The calamari appetizer was a true standout and tasted better to me than the real thing! The French onion soup similarly was just as delicious as its cow-based cousin. The "Look my Way" cocktail was quite spicy but worth it! Did not have room for dessert but the chocolate sundae looked lovely.
