a year agoTwo years ago, my family and I had no idea this masjid existed. We moved to the area on a whim, wanting to raise our children next to a masjid, praying that this would be right for us. Alhamdulillah it has been such a blessing! As a woman with young kids, I always feel so welcomed by everyone there. Kids can be loud and I get nervous for how people respond but I'm never met with criticism. Dar al-Noor has grown to feeling like a second home to me, my husband, and my kids. They are also so welcoming to non-Muslims and converts as well. They hold events and dinners for people in the community to come in and ask questions about Islam. Imam Abdulahad is also so patient and encouraging with the community and especially with the children. It makes my kids excited to keep coming back.

2 years agoSuch a beautiful Masjid/mosque. It gets very crowded for Taraweh and EId prayers. They have tents outside for men and women pray inside during Ramadan. Looking forward to Eid prayers here iA and explore some educational things for my son.

3 years agoGorgeous mosque with a plethora of cultures and backgrounds coming together to worship. This mosque also has a farm as well as many programs for adults and children. They are a staple of this community and I've seen many government officials coming to this mosque to speak and show support to this huge Muslim community that resides in the area. There is a small playground for children and a soccer field as well.
