At Darna, food means much more to us than what you taste. We offer a fully immersive experience defined by texture, aroma, and visual art, delivering a fun, authentic, approachable experience unlike any other in North Texas.
This place has been on my bucket list for a while, and I was finally able to check it out during a convention. The ambience is great for business meetings, date night, socializing or casual dining. My server was very attentive and went the extra mile. Best of all, the food was phenomenalโextremely freshโand you CAN taste the difference. Mediterranean salads are my favorite, and it was the best arugula salad I have ever hadโnot too oily, the right amount of dressing, and the perfect blend of herbs to compliment the peppery and earthy taste of arugula. I would love to keep this place a secret, but I had to give them a shout out for a phenomenal dining experience.
Cute place in Legacy West!
Chicken kebabs were super tender and were the best of the dishes we ordered. Turmeric Cauliflower was tasty too. Hummus was smooth and velvety - solid. Mussels were fishy but they didnโt charge us for it.
Service was great but just mid for me.
It was our first time at Darna and it did not disappoint. Our server Sena was amazing! We started with the Calamari, it was delicious. The Falafel was just right. Paul ordered the Kofta and it was phenomenal. The Almond Apricot cake was good but too sweet for my taste. The Moroccan Mint Tea was lovely.
From start to finish, the service here was IMPECCABLE!!! The staff was extremely friendly, our server made accommodations for us left and right, and the food was to die for. We ordered the hummus, beef kabob plate, and salmon plate. My date thought the salmon would be dry since I ordered it well-done, but it was very moist and well-cooked. I did not catch our servers name but she made our afternoon here very worthwhile. Thank you guys!!!
Darna is a fantastic spot that offers a genuine Middle Eastern experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the authentic ambiance. The dรฉcor, featuring intricate patterns, warm colors, and traditional artifacts, set a welcoming and culturally rich tone.
The music was another highlight. Traditional Middle Eastern tunes played softly, perfectly complementing the atmosphere and adding to the overall authenticity.
Before even tasting the food, I was already impressed. The attention to detail in the restaurantโs design made it feel like a little piece of the Middle East. The soft lighting added a cozy touch, making it great for both intimate dinners and lively group meals.
When the food arrived, it didnโt disappoint. Each dish was full of vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients, staying true to Middle Eastern culinary traditions. From the mezze platter to the main courses, everything was delicious and well-prepared.
I also tried the Old Fashioned, and it was excellent. It had a perfect balance of flavors and was one of the best Iโve had.
