>I started my legal career in 2008, at Greenberg Traurig, which is a very well known national firm handling Labor & Employment and Environmental Litigation. I then went to work for Mr. Robert Herce, at Herce & Herce doing criminal defense and personal injury work. I then completed an internship with the Honorable Judge Caroline Tesche of Hillsborough County assisting with family law and juvenile division. I then went to intern with CAIR, the Counsel on American Islamic handling civil rights cases involving racial and religious discrimination. After CAIR, I began to volunteer with the Guardian Ad Litem program, also in Hillsborough County, taking on cases of abused and neglected children. Deena successfully held my childโs mother in contempt and effectively argued why she should pay all my attorney fees. More importantly, she persuaded the court to restore all the lost time with my child caused by his motherโs actions. Ella, her paralegal, did a fantastic job responding promptly, and Deena skillfully outmaneuvered the opposing counsel. She was upfront about her costs and provided regular updates on my retainer.
