The Diyanet Mosque in New Haven, Connecticut is a Sunni mosque that offers a welcoming and inclusive place for worship. With its convenient location, the mosque provides a place for the local.
Masha Allah Tabarak Allah it is a brand new mosque and is still under construction. Couple men were working and some women appeared as a family directed me to go upstairs the 3rd floor to pray Asr.
Everything was okay except I didnโt feel welcomed or they were annoyed for a stranger to go and pray. No idea but in general may Allah bless them all and bless their good intention and bless whoever donated to build the mosque.
If anyone in management would read my comment, I highly advise them to work on the relationship side as I personally would prefer to pray in a simple mosque with a welcoming community over praying in a fancy decorated mosque where I donโt feel comfortable and at the end it is one of Allahโs houses and is not anyones house. Allah knows best what circumstances make them act that way.
This one star is not for Masjid itself Mashallah itโs great place very clean and great neighborhood.
But all the people there speak Turkish language in Juma prayers you will not hear a word in English I mean just set and understand nothing. It is US people know English for sure they must preach in English not Turkish, itโs not turkey!!
