6 years agoThe doctor may be great but I have no way of knowing that. My appointment today was for 10:30am and I arrived at 10:22. Patients continued to come in and by 11:00 there were 14 in the waiting room and others already called back. I asked the receptionist at 11:00 how long it would be. She said I was about to be called in 5 minutes. I asked her how long it would take after that as my appointment was for 10:30. I was told after I was called it would take about 10 minutes. At 11:12 I was finally called...left at 11:35 without ever seeing the doctor...TIME MGMT???

2 years agoI can't say enough good things about Dr. Kahn. I have been going to him for years, & on one occasion he completely stopped his clinic to do immediate eye surgery on me when I ( unknowlingly) had a retina that was almost detached. I HIGHLY recommend him.

5 years agoOverall, Dr. Khan is very thorough. However, wait times are often long, and the interior of the office could use some TLC. But the reason for 3 stars is because I scheduled an appointment months ago for tomorrow afternoon. I even made arrangements with my job to leave early for the appointment. A young lady called today to confirm the appointment. She then asked if I could come in earlier. I told her I could not but offered to reschedule for another day. Because their wait times are unpredictable, I told her it would have to be a late afternoon appointment so I would miss a mimimal amount of work and be able to make up the time. She looked and said they have no afternoon availability on a different day for over a month. So, she said she would just have me keep my appointment for tomorrow afternoon. Hours later, I received a call from a different girl who did not seem to know Iโd already spoken with their office. She asked me to come in earlier tomorrow. I told her I could not because Iโd already made arrangements with my work. She told me she would have to cancel my appointment. She said I could reschedule for another day. I told her what the other lady told me and she said, โWe donโt do appointments that late.โ If thatโs the case, why was I scheduled for that time to begin with. And if your officeสปs appointment hours have changed, why wait until the day before to let the patient know. Because I had already been told they donโt have afternoon appointments available for over a month, because the 2nd lady told me they donโt even do appointments โthat lateโ, because of how it was handled, and because I am moving away in a few months any way, I declined to try to reschedule and told the 2nd lady I will just find a new retina specialist. And she was perfectly happy with that...and after today, so am I.
