I am excited to be joining the Kaiser Permanente Pediatrics group in Vallejo. I will be working in both the outpatient setting in Vallejo as well as inpatient in both Vallejo and Vacaville. I was born and raised in the Bay Area in Fremont and completed my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley (go Bears!). I graduated with my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, in 2011. I completed an MBA in Healthcare Leadership at Rockhurst University while in medical school. The following year, I did an Internship at Southampton Hospital Graduate Medical Education in Southampton, NY. I recently completed a Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center, in Stony Brook, NY. So, in many ways I am returning home!
I have known I wanted to be a pediatrician since I was six years-old, a Kaiser Permanente member myself at that time. Being able to be a partner with families to positively affect long term health in children is an absolute dream come true. My passion is working with families who struggle with childhood obesity as well as working with children with disabilities. I believe strongly in the connection between mind, body and spirit and approach my patients as a whole unit rather than as individual parts.
I look forward to meeting you and being your partner in health.
