I was born in a small, poor area of Cairo, Egypt. I dreamt all my life of becoming a physician to help all the people around me regardless of their age or finances to the best of my ability. I did work in a very poor, small town south of Cairo where I was the only physician responsible for caring for about 200,000 people of different ages as a general practitioner. I feel fortunate now to be a family physician which I enjoy every day of my life.
