I am honestly in shock after having interaction with this office. Was referred here because of years of pre-diabetes and gallbladder problems. First the front desk lady insisted on referral being faxed. Which I understood and it was done. Next time I called she kept questioning if I even need to be seen there. The argument she used was I do not have diabetes (yet!). Shall I read this message as the doctor does not believe in preventive medicine ? Well I only spoke to her. She said she will check with doctor if he cares to see me and that was it. … never heard back from them. PS. I went there to discuss the issue in person. Saw the referral which says official diagnosis: asthma ( I was referred by asthma doctor). Referral comment: past digestive issues , elevated blood sugar, referred to endocrynology Lady at the front desk said referring doctor MUST(!) put relevant diagnosis (???) , not asthma in order for their doctor to even consider me. I was trying to explain that if other doctor could have diagnostics me in endocrinology , he would never refer me in the first place. They also never bothered to find referral from my primary care stating I have pre-diabetes which is a diagnosis in endocrinology. Certainly not going there any more.

I recently had my annual checkup with Ammar and a he listened to my concerns and had blood work done on me right away. End results is that he did have to increase my thyroid dosage and he told me I would have to get more blood work done to see if my thyroid medication he prescribed for me was the right dosage. AMMAR is an amazing doctor and an excellent listener. I find it hard to believe anyone would have anything negative to say about him. I have been seeing him for years and I am very impressed with his knowledge. It is nice to have a physician that really takes the quality time to make sure your medical concerns have been addressed and taken care of. I definitely would refer him if your looking for an excellent Endrogologist.

My experience with Ammar was top notch. After going to several other doctors and having my spot on my thyroid ignored and having a radiologist put on my report that the spot on my thyroid looked benign in its appearance ....it wasn't. Thanks to Ammar he listened to my concerns and did a biopsy and it turned out the spot was cancerous. He caught it early stage. I have not once ever felt neglected on my visits to Ammar. He is to me a great listener and always has been very polite and a very kind and a outstanding professional doctor. I definitely would recommend him and I do.

Dr. Quobatiary is still by far the best endocrinologist I’ve been a patient of. He has knowledge!! If it weren’t for Dr. Quobatiary, I wouldn’t know the ways to stay proactive about my conditions. Medication only takes care of part of the condition. I felt like he was a real person, too, which is weird to stay, but I feel like a lot of doctors are customer service bots in a human body with a script and all.
