Dr. Raowas grew up in Damascus, Syria. He attended the University of Damascus Medical School, graduating at the top of his class with the highest honors and scoring in the top 1% on the United States Medical Licensing Exams.
Dr. Raowas completed his internal medicine training at the University of Texas, Medical School at Houston, where he developed a strong passion for Hematology and Oncology. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Melanoma Oncology at the prestigious world renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he trained under pioneering leaders in target therapies, immunotherapies and other cutting edge cancer treatments.

Dr. Raowas completed his hematology and oncology fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center before joining Compassionate Cancer Care in 2015. He is experienced in treating all types of cancer malignancies and is also specialized in managing benign blood disorders and clotting diseases.
