Best cardiologist in a 300 mile radius. He is attentive and cares about his patients. You are not a walking ATM to him. He does all the testing there in his office and sees all his patients himself. I highly recommend Dr. Kartkoutly. I'm a second generation patient and he is absolutely amazing.
Dr. Karkoutly has been my heart dr for the past 12 years give or take. He has all the facilities that he needs to run tests which is so relieving! You do not have to go home after your test and worry for about 2-3 weeks to get your results. He will give you your results right after your test is done. I also want to share that this dr saved my life back in February 2018! I was very ill with the flu, RSV, Pneumonia, Strep. I was admitted into a small local hospital because of the pneumonia and I was not getting any better. I called Dr. Karkoutly to let him know that I was very ill and he immediately called the small hospital to let them know that he was having me transferred over to UMC! He was waiting for me in the ER when the ambulance brought me. The nurses placed a CPAP type machine blowing strong oxygen into my lungs, I was having trouble breathing. He instructed them to take me to get a scan of my lungs and take me straight to CICU. They had a room available for me! Nurses were waiting for me as I arrived in the unit. Thanks to Dr. Karkoutley for taking action right away! He saved my life and I will never forget that scary moment!
Would not recommend this office. I was referred by my primary care Dr to go because heโs โthe best.โ I called to verify if they received my referral and make an appointment only to be told that the doctor said he will not be seeing me due to the fact I have a high deductible. I was not even offered to pay anything up front.
He's been my heart doctor for the past 15yrs. He always been there for me and my family through the good times and some bad times. There is no one else I would trust when it comes to my heart. If you're looking for a good heart doctor I would recommend him.
