2 years agoReferred here due to being anemic. Doctor was spot on, assured me it was probably related to having gastric bypass surgery 15 years ago. Had the endoscopy and they found nothing. Good office staff. Iโll come back in a year or so for routine colonoscopy.

4 years agoDr. Mehzer is incredible. He came to my rescue when I ended up in the emergency room. I had a gallstone in bile duct that has been causing me so much pain for so many months. Iโm still bouncing back but I have never felt better! I am forever grateful.

5 years agoWhere do I begin? I came here because I saw a good review and I was wrong. From the front office youโre looked at like youโre not wanted there. Youโre greeted with attitude and minimal eye contact. Then they resume to their weekend gossip and ghetto music about sex. Yes, I heard your stories about your weekend. Please, donโt do that. If you were a patient feeling unwell it doesnโt not look right to be given flat greeting expression then resume to your conversation and laughing. Patients are the reason you have a job. And your job is suppose to help people with compassion. When I came here as a patient I felt very rushed. There was minimal eye contact by Dr. Mezher. Its like he wanted to treat every symptom with medication as opposed to listening to everything Iโm experiencing and trying to find the cause of my symptoms. It was just medication after medication after medication. I was scoped the following week on a Monday . I experienced substernal pain the next day on a Tuesday and mid back pain after the procedure. It was constantly there and it hurt to eat and swallow food. The home care paper specifies in the paper if you have this โPLEASE NOTIFY YOUR DOCTORโ I called the front office and the medical assistant said she would โpass the messageโ to the doctor. I asked if I could speak with the registered nurse she said, โsheโs busy in a procedure right now.โ Mind you I was told I can speak to a nurse at ANY time I had concerns. Well I didnโt hear back Tuesday nor Wednesday. I was concerned with my esophagus being perforated/ injured during scope. Iโm a nurse my self and I consulted with my other colleagues who have experience in this with EGD and also physician at my work which recommended me to follow up with the Dr. Mezher ASAP. I decided to call after work on Thursday morning to speak with a nurse and the receptionist said โsheโs busy in a procedure.โ . I left work Thursday and went in person and Demanded at the front desk to see a nurse. The young lady finally got up and went to get a nurse. I spoke with the nurse and told me sheโs always available and unsure why she (receptionist) couldnโt notify her of my calls. The nurse was very kind to me and listened to me both times I went there Hereโs a little advice *IM LUCKY I HAVE COLLEGUES IN THE MEDICAL WORLD BECAUSE I CAN CONSULT THEM FOR ADVICE** however, give a more severe situation to a parient with little medical knowledge and this office is waiting to be SUED if there are symptoms that arenโt being addressed appropriately in a timely manner. These receptionist arenโt trained nor have medical knowledge to triage patients. Please donโt. I suggest appropriately training them to ask appropriate question OR GIVE THEM DARN PHONE TO A TRAINED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL like a nurse or MD. Itโs no disrespect itโs just difference in job title and training. Secondly, he was on call that weekend and I was notified to call if the remedy wasnโt helping my vomiting.j had been taking my medication religiously as ordered. I called and it took TWO hours for Dr. Mezher to call me back while he was on call. I had to leave work because I was not called in a timely manner. I canโt work taking care of patients while running out of their rooms to vomit. I had no relief from 7pm-11pm. It was ridiculous. He called back 10pm after calling three time with 30 minute wait interval since 8pm. Well few days later I kept having emesis episodes. I called him again and he NEVER responded. I switched providers and Iโm glad I did. This place is waiting to be sued. Youโll be just another dollar sign to them. Never come here if you want professional and compassionate help.

5 years agoMy name is Carol West my birthday is 07/28/1 I had a colonoscopy and a endoscopy by Dr Mehzler and he didnโt really do a very thorough job because I have ulcerative colitis my whole life he said he didnโt show it also diviculitis and polyps in my rectum I donโt feel that he did a very good job of doing it or reading it because every other colonoscopy and an endoscopyI have had with Dr gottlieb have shown different results and I do have chronic diarrhea and other issues including a paraesophigal hernia and my food doesnโt digest due to a digestive enzyme deficiency. I have family Members with ulcerative colitis Barrettโs esophagus And a sister that passed away with Crohnโs disease and another niece with Crohnโs disease Iโm sorry but Iโm not buying your results of my test
