What stood out: 1) Honesty and realistic expectations. Dr. Micallef took the time to discuss what I wanted and answered all my questions. Honesty goes both ways though, so my advice is to speak up and bring pictures. It is evident that he cares about his patients and strives to get you the best results! 2) Professional, but not cold. Dr. Micallef and his team are attentive and very friendly. You feel the good vibes as soon as you enter the office. You can tell when people enjoy what they do and that shows in their work as well. 3) Expert and an artist. This isn't his first rodeo. He is knowledgeable and knows what to do to achieve your desired look. I also appreciate that he has been mindful of how I am healing. As a nurse, I am always thinking worst case scenario, but I was able to put my trust in his hands and my results look absolutely beautiful and natural! 4) Reliability and preparedness. I had a direct number to Dr. Micallef for any questions or concerns. I did keep in mind that he would possibly be in surgery and whatnot, but he has been prompt with his responses. Prior to surgery, I was also educated on what to expect and was given a folder with specific instructions and information regarding the pre-op and post-op phase. 5) Did I mention my results look beautiful? If it sounds like I am trying to sell you... I am, but it's because of my own experience. While you should "shop around", don't waste your time and get a consult with Dr. Micallef.

There are very few doctors who you meet that are as genuine, kind, informative, talented and personable as Dr. Micallef. During the process of finding a plastic surgeon I had booked several consultations. Dr. Micallef was my first consultation.
