Dr. Daniel J. Lama, MD

I had an operation scheduled, they called me to tell me to be there 10:30am then Dr. Lama comes by hours later to tell it was going to be another 1.5 hours more of waiting because he had told his staff to tell me to come in at 12:30 not 10:30. for the procedure I had to get a catheter put in which Dr. Lama said to.just come on Friday and they would just take it out. got there and No one knew an thing and had to wait going on 3 hours now.

Dr is good but the office is horrible. Every single visit, the wait time beyond your appointment is at least an hour. Crowded waiting room and the office staff are not very friendly.

Dr Lama gets a 5 star but the staff needs to be flipped. No answer in phone no matter what selection you make on the list, if I leave a message no one called me back! I’ve had to drive down the hill from Crestline twice to go directly to office to make a follow up after bladder surgery! If I have to cancel because of snow or illness I can’t call and tell them because no answer. The front desk girls always, always have a sour face and attitude! Last week when I went to book a follow-up the ENTIRE parking lot was full and the waiting room had every seat filled!! I know he’s good, but do they overbook? Something needs to happen!

My fiance is a patient of Dr. Lama and now we all know that a catheter can only be placed for Sixty days but he also has a tube in his kidney for the drainage etc. My fiance no pain, kidney drainage, empty, but this doctor has his appointment for October to long for both tubes to be in... but can't move appointment sooner and won't put a request in to remove. Not cool at all, Lawsuit!

We had an appointment earlier this week to see Dr.Lama. the Nurses were extremely rude! Very mean ladies. None of them had a smile on their faces and were answering with 1 word answers. I felt so unwelcomed. The only reason im giving 3 stars was because Dr. Lama was the best. He treated me with the best care and is very understanding . but nurses have to get changed!
