Dr. Dara Abusada is the owner of the BLVD Dentistry & Orthodontics of Richmond Dental Office.
Dr. Dara Abusada is a native Houstonian. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Humanย Nutrition and Foods at the University of Houston and later went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Abusada was respectively awarded the Myron Sigler International Esthetic Dentistry Award.
Dr. Abusada is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. She also enjoys giving back to the community at Texas Mission of Mercy and Gives Kids a Smile Day events.
Aside from her involvement in the dental community, Dr. Abusada enjoysย traveling the world to gain new life experiences with her husband, Ammar, and two beautiful daughters, Reina & Mila.ย ย She also keeps busy by introducing her daughters to exciting adventures and community involvement satisfying their curiosity as well as growing them into future contributors and leaders of their community.

a month agoBLVD Dentistry was excellent! I received a very thorough exam. Dr. Abusada was pleasant and gentle and explained everything in a way I could understand. Nice, clean office with up to date equipment. Everyone in the office was nice and helpful.

3 months agoI recently visited BLVD Dentistry for a routine check-up and cleaning, and it was excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who made me feel comfortable and welcome.The office is modern, clean, and equipped with the latest dental technology. The team at BLVD Dentistry truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional dental care.

4 months agoVery attentive, kind and quick at helping me with my issue. I went there for an emergency; I needed my wisdom tooth taken out. Dentist were able to see me detect the issue and resolve it. Also helped me out with my prescription and holding a spot for me at a different location while I drove there to have my extraction done. Everyone was very nice and professional. Will definitely be going back. I went to the location in Richmond and the Heights.

a week agoI have been in the office at least three times for dental cleaning. They are in my dental network and the my visit should be fully covered by my dental insurance but every-time I go they come up later with charges they claim that the insurance did not pay for it. Last time I had appointment that was a week ago they ask for $20.00 when I asked why, they said that the code we use is different than the code my insurance pay for. If they are in my insurance network they should provide the services that is stated in the network. If anyone uses them with insurance coverage, do not sign any paper before they tell you what your liability will be. I paid $90.00 for normal cleaning. Their said we file with your insurance and they denied payment when they suppose to call the insurance fist to know what the insurance should cover before providing the services I do not recommend the office and do not trust them in taking care of my dental health.

5 months agoI love this office! I came here after a horrible experience at another dentist office. The staff here are SO nice and Dr. Dara is amazing! I came several times to get all the work I needed done and each time everyone was very considerate and really professional. Iโm so pleased with the work I had done. I would 100% recommend!
