>Dr. Dean Azzeh comes to Southern California from Harvard University. His excellence in orthodontic practice is a result of a four year rigorous training program, twice the time frame an average orthodontist is trained in. His training in orthodontics was concurrently paralleled by his scholarly endeavors which earned him a Doctor of Medical Sciences Degree/Phd in Growth and Development from Harvard Medical School. Upon graduation, he was awarded the most prestigious degree amongst his peers, the James Shaw award.
Dr. Azzeh is a board certified orthodontist, an honor earned by less than 25% of all orthodontists in the United States. To become a member of the American board of Orthodontics, one must pass rigorous tests and take re-certification exams. One must also strictly adhere to the highest standards of care and abide by all the laws and regulations of the board. A dentist who graduates from a specialty program becomes an orthodontic specialist who is eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
His philosophy accentuates the importance of remaining at the forefront of the advancements in the profession which he’s been contributing to by his publications since 2002. He is the editor of the two premier journals in the field. He is also an interviewer for Harvard College admissions.
Dr. Azzeh’s professional affiliations include: The American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, the California Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics.

From the initial consultation to the completion of the treatment, we have been thoroughly impressed with the level of care and expertise provided. First and foremost, Dr. Dean and his staff were extremely welcoming and created a friendly environment that helped alleviate any anxiety my son had about getting braces. They took the time to explain each step of the treatment process in detail, ensuring that both my son and I understood what to expect. Throughout the treatment, Dr. Dean demonstrated a high level of professionalism and skill. He utilized the latest techniques and equipment to ensure that the treatment was as comfortable and effective as possible. My son's progress was regularly monitored, and adjustments were made promptly to ensure optimal results. Furthermore, the clinic itself was well-maintained and hygienic, contributing to a positive overall experience. 3 months agoI had to have all of my wisdom teeth removed including one that was very impacted. The entire process was so smooth & I'm very satisfied with the care I received from this office. I was a little nervous, but the Dr made me feel at ease & explained everything, before I knew if I was waking up & going home. I also appreciated being able to text the office if I had something quick to ask or information to give. The communication was always great & I'm glad I chose this facility to have my surgery done. My procedure & recovery went smoothly, they are very thorough with aftercare instructions (which you MUST follow) & follow up visits. a year agoDr. Dean is fantastic! He is honest with what your child needs now or can wait on for their age after looking at the X-rays. Felt no pressure, he is honest and gives options. Jenn was great! She was so kind and made my son completely at ease. She took time to listen to my sons concerns and needs when putting on his next set of brackets and coaching him through his next steps. Canโt wait to see her the next follow up visit! So happy there is a Newport Beach office along with Irvine, so we can visit close to home for checkups!

2 months agoRodrigo was amazing with my daughter very attentive. He ensure she was aware on how to put the rubber bands. Amazing personality and ensure my daughter was pain free as much as possible. I love this office Dr Dean and staff are all very professional.
