Dr. Ehab F. Abdalah is a physiatrist in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his medical degree from Cairo University School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Ehab F. Abdalah accepts Medicare, Aetna, Humana, Cigna – see otherย insurance plans accepted.
I saw Dr. Ehab a few months ago when I recently moved to the Phoenix area. Pain management is a hard specialty and as a new patient I was leery of how I would feel coming into a new office. The front office since I first stepped in the door was exceptionally professional and very friendly. They have been that way ever since. I believe a physician's staff is a reflection on the physicians himself. I was right, he is a very caring and respectful doctor. I never felt I was being judged. If you are honest and really seeking pain management and willing to do the work to get better you won't find a better place for your care.
Dr. Abdalah is the only pain management doctor that I've ever been seen by and I don't want a different pain management doctor. He gets a lot of hassle because he's very curt and straight to the point with his patients and staff. Yet I don't see him having much choice.
He is one of the very few doctors who accepts AHCCCS health insurance as well as being one of the very few pain management doctors in the entire valley who can administer the pain blocker back shots for patients in his office, as well as provide medication options other doctors wont risk. All this means he's seeing 4 or 5 patients at a time within a 30 minute window. The man is doing the best he can.
Dr. Abdalah will get to know you on your first visit, he'll preform the required examination and find out what your situation is.and what your goal is. But after that, his goal is to try and get you healthy again. That means MORE than just medication. As I mentioned the back surgeries that he himself preforms, physical therapy, specialist referrals, and yes medication. But you have to be willing to try things other than the medication.
The staff are the ones who talk to you about your concerns and questions. While the doctor is swamped dealing with more patients than an entire office of doctors normally handles in the same amount of time. His staff are more than capable of taking the information you give them and relaying it to the doctor in shorten condensed medical terms so that he can respond quickly and efficiently.
And warning to every one. YES, if you fail your drug test, you can get kicked out of his treatment. When you first become a patient of his you sign a contract with him stating that you are under the doctors supervision regarding your pain management medication. So if you start taking things you aren't prescribed. You're violating that contract and you'll more than likely stop receiving care.
As long as you follow the rules hes a great doctor.
The clinic told ne there was not a copay and then 7 or 8 months later tell me I owe $70 per visit.
Horrible practitioner I hope he goes back to Egypt.
I saw him.years ago and his greed caught up to him and it cost U.S. a human LUFE.
I have seen a lot of doctors was born with a bone disease and most doctors just pass the bucket and donโt help. Dr. Abdalah was kind. Took his time to talk to me. I was treated with compassion and am so glad I found him.
Avoid this doctor or what ever he calls himself at all costs. He is beyond rude and should be reported to the Medical Board. His office is very unorganized and staffers are rude, probably cause they have to deal with this weirdo. If you have a serious pain issue he doesn't even listen to you. He screamed at me asking why I was there and spent mere seconds in the actual room not listening to anything I was saying. This guy- what an absolute joke to the medical community. Stay away from this place at all costs! I did notice one of the only 5 star reviews came from the doctor himself. That's how pathetic this office is that he has to fluff his own rating...
