He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., then went on to complete his fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Georgetown University Hospital also in Washington, D.C. Dr. Abdul-Khalek is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He is also an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer.

5 months agoDr. Abdul-Khalek saw my husband today for a second opinion on a genetic blood clotting disorder. He was so incredibly patient and kind. He took his time giving us his thoughts and opinion and gave us both great peace of mind. The women at the front desk were also very kind and helpful. The office itself was very very nice as well. They deserve every one of their five star ratings. Highly recommend.

8 months agoI cannot speak highly enough of Doctor Khalek Abdul. He always goes above and beyond to ensure that my iron levels are well maintained, promptly putting me on iron infusions when needed. His dedication to my health is evident in his consistent follow ups every couple of months. It's truly rare to find a doctor who cares as deeply for their patients as he does. I feel incredibly grateful to be under his care and know that my wellbeing is always his top priority.

9 months agoI never have waiting time at this office. Dr. Khalek's staff are amazing! They are both warm yet professional. It had been almost a year since being treated for blood clots but he remembered me and was prepared with follow up treatments to continue my care. I also like the fact that I can get all.my bloodwork done in one spot!
