Dr. Ghassan Fanous, MD

I was recommended to him by couple of people that had great experience with him. On the other hand I had the worst most traumatic experience ever. I wouldn’t recommend him. Through out all my pregnancy I had little issues that I would bring out to him every time he would say it’s normal. He never bother to listen to me, since it was my first pregnancy I guess they assumed I didn’t know my body & I was being dramatic. My appointment would last like 5 min or less & I would wait over 2-3 hrs. Prior me giving birth to my baby I had gone the day before because I was hurting & all he said was I was dehydrated did not bother to check me, I was dilated maybe 1 - 1 and a half cm. The next day I woke up leaking call the office & they said “you’re probably peeing” I said no I’m leaking this is not pee they said to go in. I waited 2 hrs until I was actually seen, I was having contractions every 5 min but they said I wasn’t. Once he finally decided to see me my water broke & I had to give birth to my baby early. Once I got to the hospital my BP was so high, I got diagnosed with severe preeclampsia & hellp syndrome. Spent 7 days hospitalized. I had small symptoms of pre eclampsia but he never listen to my concerns, staff said he was having family problems. It doesn’t matter to me when people lives depend on you. He said I had scared him when he went to check on me which was only twice in 7 days. I would never go back to him.

When I arrived at Dr Fanous’ Office I was coming from a dr who dismissed my two miscarriages that happened within 3 months of eachother wouldn’t do any testing no blood work nothing even though I begged after each one. Dr Fanous and his staff have been a blessing to me and my husband. He is thorough he and his staff go above and beyond for their patients. After my third miscarriage in September I went to Fanous and he ran tests immediately after sitting and speaking with me for an hr. He didn’t rush me and he didn’t let the outside world in to my time with him, most drs rushed me out the door he did not. After tests were ran it was discovered I had diabetes due to pcos he referred me to a dr who specializes in this issue and Fanous and his team put together a game plan to get me in the track to getting pregnant with a healthy baby and all that goes with it. I am now 17weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy and Had I not been in his and his team’s care it wouldn’t be possible. Reviews complain about time and about attitudes but his wife is real and outgoing and Fanous takes his time giving the best care he can to his patients, his nurses are kind and welcoming and go above and beyond and his ultrasound Tech answers all my questions of what is on that screen I can’t make out! His office is a place of high expectations of his staff and hisself and with that level of respect his patients are top priority and well cared for. You may have longer wait time but it’s because when you’re back there with Him he is taking his time to be the best Dr for you. I’ll take a little longer wait time if it means I will be well cared for over a dr who failed to care for me at all. I’m blessed to have him as my Dr.

Find a new dr if your not pregnant, ir your just see him annually for Pap smears be prepared to wait 3 hours I had to leave after waiting naked in a room for 2 and a half hours , calling twice with promises of being next no thanks . Be considerate of your patients time

Dr. Fanous has been my doctor for about ten years. Rarely have I had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, and then only in case of an emergency with another patient. He is very understanding, explains things thoroughly, and makes sure he answers my questions completely. His office staff is always friendly and professional. His attitude is the best of any doctor I know; always positive and encouraging!

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Fanous. He took the upmost care of my baby and I from beginning to end. He was extra cautious and preventive. After a challenging previous pregnancy (and with a different doc), he made this pregnancy a breeze with his care and proper medications etc. I will recommend him 1000%. I just delivered and my experience was beyond great. I definitely believe the doctors make a difference through delivery. He has great bed side manner, very caring, and compassionate! He truly cares for his patients.
