I've been in many ERs throughout my life due to a chronic illness. Never have I had to rate one because of what a terrible experience it was. I'm on day 3 and my room is a literal hallway with along with about 20 other people in the hall because there are no rooms anywhere in the hospital. That's right, bright lights, people walking by, talking all night long and you are supposed to rest and recover here. The nurses are doing their best. Its not their fault. But the conditions are absolutely terrible. I have to use the bathroom in front of everyone walking by. Go somewhere else

This hospital is amazing! I have never had a hospital or staff be so caring and flexible. We have a huge family and they allowed us to join our family member in slightly bigger numbers then two. They decorated her room for Christmas and made sure she comfortable. They made us a framed photo of her heart beat and key chains with her fingerprints. We will cherish these mementos for the rest of our lives. I want to thank Hana or nurse for being so caring and thoughtful. Thank you UCLA for everything you did.

I'm rating their cafeteria. For some reason, I have always loved institutional food. Don't ask me why, because even I don't know. Hospital food, in particular. That McDonald's jingle should really be about this cafeteria, because I'm lovin' it. This is my In-N-Out (I hate that franchise). The cafeteria is clean, the food is great, it's affordable, and I just like to sit and watch all the brainiac doctors in their white coats talking about medical jargon that I cannot possibly begin to understand. It makes me feel smart. I'm usually a drooling imbecile, but I feel like I came from Yale School of Medicine. So, thank you, UCLA Medical Center cafeteria, for making me feel like I lived up to my potential and didn't become the family disappointment.

What can i say i was impress the first three times the way they took care of me at the emergency, But lately they have been dropping the ball, Last night i was there from 10:45pm til 3am and still i was not called inn. I suffer from cervical spinal stenosis it makes my shoulders and elbows hurt so much that you want to scream and i was dying inside my body with pain but make these people understand at UCLA, plus the emergency has all these crazy people and bums that smells bad in emergency room and they start screaming doing crazy things and made a lot of patients scared and decided to leave, Plus the smell in the emergency was bad and the same chairs we sit in the same people that are homeless and crazy sit in them and they are nasty discuss ting they don't sanitize the chairs, thats plain nasty, there was lady there started to scream her pans fell that she sat back down on the chair, UCLA you should be ashamed has nasty that emergency room is, you guys remind of the 80's of the UC Harbor Hospital was so bad and took forever to see you even if you were bleeding to death they would make you sit out there for at least 4-5 hours, Trust me you guys are getting there. No one should suffer from pain and sit there for 4-5 hours seriously, I left went home with pain and anger and i took Hot shower to calm the pain that did not even work. Spinal cervical stenosis is so bad its like a Ice Pick thats being put in shoulder that hurts the nerve that make you want to scream, The best part when i left you guys called me almost at 4am on my cell WOW thats professional curtesy. My Mother died in your Hospital back 2016 from Pancreatic cancer, I should of learn my lesson, one of your nurses treated my mom bad that i had to file complaint. Its seems that your reputation has not changed, cause the nurse that check you in are rude. P.S forgot, since the service was bad they don't care that have pay 15.00 for parking for bad service, I drove 65 miles to this hospital cause were i live the the hospitals were i live are so bad they have 1.5 star rating. I thought UCLA was better, I guess i was wrong they have not changed.

Majority of our experience here has been great, however since we spend most of our time in the Nicu with our baby boy, you would think that the nurses who are watching them follow some type of guide to respectfully work quietly so that the babies who needs rest can rest peacefully, but no! That’s not the case, they gossip out loud with one another, they slam drawers, trash lids, and more. Our kid has a heart condition so resting is the best thing for him to get him where he needs to be for his surgery. He is always startled or woken up by all of the noises going on. All I ask is that you guys respect the needs of the kids who needs to rest and try not to make so much noise or talk so loud, especially if is just about gossip. Thanks
