a year agoI am Gina Whitson Seabourn . I have been seeing Dr Kirdi for years. In my opinion Dr Kirdi is the best cardiologist around. He saved my life when I was brought to Covenant Hospital by ambulance from the Crosbyton hospital ER. after being told by the attending physician ( who was an ER .physician from Dallas, Texas . I feel like I was very fortunate to have as my physician at the moment) told me that I was having a heart attack , he held my hand the entire time after he had called ahead to make sure that there would be a cardiologist and a pulmonary physician at covenant waiting for me to arrive? Dr Juan Kirdi and Dr Gary Smith were the 2 physicians that greeted me upon my arrival. Dr Kirdi was very young at the time and i.recall asking him not to let me die? Dr Kirdi told me that he wasn't going to let me die that he was going to do everything in his power to prevent that from happening to me. And he did just like he said he would and I made it and I am still alive and making it now because of the exceptional care and knowledge of Dr Juan Kirdi. I am still a patient of Dr.Kidi and I would highly recommend that anyone who needs to be under the care of a cardiologist specialist to consider contacting Dr Kirdi. He is the best cardiologist in my opinion that anyone could have

8 months agoDr Kurdi is narcissistic, unresponsive, and disorganized, which endangers his cardiac patients. We saw him for a cardiac tumor identified on MRI. He assumed it was benign, did not order a biopsy, and sent us to an inexperienced local surgeon. We opted to get surgery in Dallas at a specialized cardiac hospital that had seen this condition before. The tumor ended up being Cancer. Dr. Kurdi REFUSED to return the call of the Dallas surgeon so after care could be coordinated in Lubbock. Assuming the best, we quickly scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kurdi to make sure he was updated on the surgery and cancer treatment plan. He was openly rude, dismissive, and must have had his ego damaged. Felt like getting slapped in the face by someone who was supposed to be on our team. Obviously, we changed cardiologists. I have not known a doctor of any specialty with such profound lack of professionalism and cavalier attitude toward patients' health outcomes. He should not be practicing medicine.

3 years agoMy Dad has been seeing Dr. Kurdi for a while. High recommendation for Dr. but his staff are horrible. Been waiting on all results to be transferred to my Dad's family Dr. but his admins are failing to their job. Like I stated Dr. is excellent but admins seem to just be neglecting patient's requests.

4 years agoSeventeen months ago I had 7 hart attacks in a week. The ER doctor tried to open an artery unsuccessfully. Dr Kurdi told my wife he had to try, he did and was successful. I now have a pacemaker/defibrillator and have been attach free for 17 months. I honestly feel I would not be here today to spend more time with my wife if it werenโt for Dr. Kurdi. Heโs the best! Thank God for Dr. Kurdi.
