Dr. Kamal A. Batniji

I had a disappointing experience with this doctor’s office. After initial consultation 2 months passes then I decided to call and asked for follow up they told me I needed to schedule a Ct scan and follow up with doctor and that they messed up on authorization to not go to a specific radiology because of being misdiagnosed and apparently results could be sent somewhere to get accurate results for of course for $200. After waiting for weeks, they weren’t able to change the radiology located. Not only did I waste a bunch of time now I have to wait extra weeks for a ct appointment. Ana and Lupe provided poor customer service, with Ana being particularly rude and unapologetic about the office’s mistakes. Overall, the service was unprofessional and frustrating.

The irony of posting a review and there are reviews about staff’s horrendous, discriminatory and rude customer services. Long story short: Caught (in real time) the staff lying, being dishonest and rude, and it is making patients very stressed and sad that their mistakes cause a delay in getting treatment, but Dr. Batniji is a good? doctor. Very disappointed in the front staff office as they were dishonest about a situation in not sending out authorization forms in time and then not being truthful (who ever did the authorization) about it the next day. They first told me it should have been sent out the day after my appointment, the 23rd. Then they told me it was sent out on the 29th, but little did they know I was on the phone with my authorization insurance group who told me to contact the office and Insurance told me they sent it on on the 4th of June (the day I first called about the appointment). The discrepancy and the customer service... but honestly I just need treatment and the delay in everything is not helping. Unfortunately, this office has all the equipments for test and Dr. Batniji's other office in Newport Beach (more billing purposes) only accepts consultations. Kind of fortunately, the standoffish lady who picked up the phone may have understood the delay that the office has caused and scheduled two appointments for the 17th/18th of July ahead of time. Praying for a better service on the next visit.

So grateful for this doctor! He’s thorough and so very knowledgeable! The staff are respectful and kind. Thank you for all of your help!

⚠️CAUTION⚠️ “WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE “ I would like to start off by saying I was referred to Dr Kamal Batniji by my primary DR do to me not breathing through my nose, causing me to get dizzy. Turned out that it was polyps cyst and sinus problems. Dr. Kamal said that surgery would not change the appearance of my nose in any way, shape or form due to it not being cosmetic. I had a nice straight nose. January 3, 2023 I got septoplasty surgery I was left with “saddle nose “deformity. The cause was excessive resection of septum. Dr Kamal just told me, that should not had happened !!!! I can fix it in six months to a year I decided to get second opinions because I was not comfortable with him fixing my nose due to he was the one that destroyed and left my nose deformed. I was advised to speak to him and his staff about covering my surgery with a different doctor and they told me to go to his son because he was a plastic surgeon. I said I did not feel comfortable with that. I did not go back to him or his son, they basically told me to figure it out I was left to have to pay out-of-pocket to get reconstructive surgery to try to look like myself again due to this I went into severe depression and I’m still dealing with consequences from that surgery. Not to mention so much time off work that I had to take to heal from the surgery. The worst part was the treatment I got from him and his staff. Trying to make it out to be as if I had a deformed nose to start with. But that’s not the case I have proof pictures and video of a day before my surgery and after surgery I kept a file with dates and pictures. WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE !!! “⚠️ CAUTION ⚠️ “

This doctor and his staff are a joke. They schedule so far in advance every time and are surprised when you can’t make it. Made it to three different appointments and have absolutely nothing to show for it. If you feel like wasting a year and a half of your life for zero results then this is the place for you. For everyone else I would recommend literally any other doctor.
