3 months agoDoing a full work up currently. I like DR. AWAR very much. The nurse practitioner is nice but I have an extremely difficult understanding her when she speaks. I have some hearing loss and also cant hear her pitch. Dr. AWAR I can communicate clearly. Alot of construction going on, at Awars bldg. So make sure to have a little patience. Getting in touch with the staff on the same day you call is nearly impossible. As for Dr Awar, again I give him high remarks. I feel like he's one of those Dr's who hears his patients.

5 months agoThe only thing I know about this place is they NEVER answer the phone & NEVER call you back. Their message service is rude. Iโve been trying to call for 2 days no response so tried at 4am. Message service said call back during regular business hours. I asked what she was for, she said emergencies. (Iโm sorry but if Iโm having a heart emergency, Iโm calling 911.) I thought that was silly & she said โtoo badโ & hung up. Edit. Everyone drops a ball. Iโm big on fixing it. The office manager called and took care of everything to my extreme satisfaction. Very well done!

2 years agoMy 93 year old mother made a appointment for today and when she got there the staff would not see her because she didn't have a VA approval. She offered up other insurance and even offered to pay cash. They would not even listen to her. She made it to the VA clinic where she collapsed. Thanks to the VA they swarmed over her got her stable and into an ambulance and over to the hospital. I would not tell anyone to go to this doctor. I feel he doesn't care about his patients.

a year agoThey want to have my mom go to hospital last minute.. require lab work that we showed up for and order was never received. Ask them to resend and refuse ( want my blind mother who is unable to drive to go pick them up ) seriously. So we have to cancel the appointment because we canโt physically go pick up the orders because they refuse to resend them . The front office girls responded with sure thing .. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

2 years agoDoctor Awar seems thorough in determining his diagnosis and communicates well to any questions weโve had. We felt comfortable with him and are confident that he will help my husband strengthen his heart as quickly as possible in the least invasive way.
