I have been a patient for years but yesterday I was met with hostility by his office staff. I needed my inhaler prescription refilled but had changed pharmacies, I called to tell them, they agreed to call it in. But, because of Covid I hadn't been to the office for awhile. The girl said she called to tell me I needed to see the doctor, I didn't answer and she did not leave a message. I called to check on it yesterday and she said I could make an appointment in July but not before. I need my inhaler now, I have Asthma. She argued and was angry and disrespectful. She said she had done her part. Said I could go to my primary care physician. I find it cruel actually that they were not willing to work with me. The doctor was in the office, a script could have been called in and an appointment made for the July date. I don't think Dr. Faisal would approve but of course she would not help. I am 78 years old and very upset.
Dr. Faisel is so professional, empathetic, and courteous at all times. He listens to me and discusses treatment options including RX and any questions I may have every single visit. I would never choose any other pulmonologist but he or his partner Dr. Stein. Office staff very accomodating in getting me scheduled or in touch with Dr. Faisel if I"m in a flare up with my lungs. It makes me so comfortable to know how I can count on this doctor and the office staff when I have difficulty breathing.
I have been going to Dr Faisalโs office for a couple of years. The staff has always greeted me with warm smiles and friendly conversation. Dr Faisal is professional and always takes time to explain everything. Highly recommend.
