Dr. Salem graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2005. She works in Huntington Beach, CA and 6 other locations and specializes in Family Medicine. Dr. Salem is affiliated with South Coast Global Medical Center and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital & Medical Center.
The front desk workers are the some the most useless people. They bring the doctor down when she's a great doctor. They don't answer the phone. And if they do, they put people on hold for a long time only for the calls to go to vmail. Don't go here unless you want to experience stress over not getting assistance. They have an annoying recording they you'll get the most professional assistance but it's just a recording and joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE.
New to the area and was automatically assigned by my insurance to Dr. Salem as new primary doctor. Initial visit was fine, but needed some referrals for labs and urology which have been an unpleasant process. Canโt ever get ahold of anyone, front desk seems inexperienced by giving wrong information and never answers the phone or returns voicemails. Iโve left multiple voicemails with no calls back. Iโve was on hold for 45 minutes trying to get my referral information sorted out before I was prompted that no one in the office was available and to leave a message (I called at 3pm).
Dr. Nahla Salem has been my primary doctor for many years and I am so grateful that she was my doctor. There are times when it may be a little hard to see her but that is because she is a very good doctor who takes the time to listen to you and explain things to you. She cares a lot about your health and the best way to treat you. If you have her for your doctor you should be grateful and tell her and keep going to her. Her staff is also very caring and polite and they treat you with respect. The front desk staff is so important at any office and some can be very rude but that has not been my experience at this office. Many thanks to you Dr Salem and your staff. I hope I find a new doctor like you.

Absolutely unprofessional, I was told that I would see a doctor, NO ONE TOLD ME I WOULD BE Nurse acting as a doctor l.
When I arrived I was told I had to make the doctor my primary prior to be treated. I complied I was taken to the back where they did my weight and put me in the room.
I was told doctor Adrianna would be in.
The women who came in was a young Asian women who made absolutely no eye contact with me she gave me an attitude when I said will I see the doctor today? I was told NO you donโt see the doctor they tell you when you book you are seeing me not the doctor. You need to specify here if you only wanna see the doctor. This women DID NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT had NO EMOTION an rudly said do you wanna see me or not. I require sincere Immediate attention and I made that clear when I called to set this app up. This nurse prescribed me blood pressure medicine and an ultra sound referral. When I was leaving I told the nurse station I wanted to see the doctor I was told that they have a 2-4 week wait to see the doctor. I was told 2 weeks at 10/45 when I got home I noticed it was for 2/23. I called and the lady had no empathy saying I said 2-4weeks if you donโt want to wait you can switch primaryโs but you wonโt be getting that medicine or the ultra sound then hung up on me. Iโm absolutely in shock and disgusted I pray the doctor doesnโt have any idea the nurse is acting as a doctor and scamming ppl making them wait 4 weeks to see them.
