Dr. Rami G. Apelian, MD

I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Apelian, and I can confidently say that he is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable neurologists I’ve ever encountered. From my very first appointment, it was clear that he genuinely cares about his patients’ health and well-being. Dr. Apelian took the time to listen to my concerns, ensuring I felt heard and understood. He explained complex medical concepts in a way that was easy to grasp, which made me feel much more at ease. His thorough approach to diagnosis and treatment gave me confidence that I was in capable hands.

I have seen Dr. Rami Apelian for several years now with "mysterious" symptoms and conditions. Dr. Apelian is brilliant and absolutely determined to get to the bottom of whatever may be wrong with you, even it if it not easily diagnosed. I guess being a neurologist that makes sense, but Dr. Apelian is, in the very best way, "like a dog with a bone" -- he will not quit until he has helped his patient. He is incredibly intelligent and presents whatever he is asking you to do in terms of tests in a comprehensive and courteous way. (He also has a very nice sense of humor which I was grateful for.) And the office staff is just the best -- kind, professional, helpful -- if you call, they answer and they give the office a welcoming atmosphere which is great. I highly recommend Dr. Apelian and his office. I am very appreciative of his care. He is Number One Neurologist Extraordinaire.

Doctor got verbally aggressive because I stated I didn't remember dates or detail of previous seizures, and that I didn't want to change medication because I had no complaint with current medication. My spouse was there advocating for me, and she was uncomfortable. I started getting anxiety and shutting down and because I was quiet, he got more upset. I told him I didn't care for his attitude and he told me I was difficult and to go find another neurologist and stormed off. I witness my wife cry of anger and scream in our vehicle in the parking lot. I am not going to let anyone intimidate me ever again.

Dr Apelian has been very thorough with my medical issues. I'm thankful i found a specialist who takes his time with you. Unfortunately i had a lot of other specialist in the past who "know it all" and misdiagnosed me several times. Even though we still haven't found a diagnosis with my neurological issues Dr. Apelian is actually running test to rule out all possible issues my symptoms resembles. I'm very satisfied with care I've been given. The office staff is great as well!
