Dr. Robert D. Footer, MD

I recently had another wonderful interaction and visit with Dr. Footer and his staff which compels me to write this review. Dr. Footer, Mrs. Footer, and the entire staff could not be more helpful and amazing. I needed a prescription refill but had been remiss in keeping appointments I made due to travel conflicts. I was given a 30 day refill and an appointment to come in so that a review of my current health could be made since it had been over a year since my last visit. Mrs. Footer could not have been more accommodating and understanding. At that appointment, and all prior appointments with Dr. Footer, he spent as much time as I needed answering my questions and giving me the best quality care. I was given another refill for my prescription for a year. I will be more diligent about my annual exam with Dr. Footer because there is no other doctor who gives me such a high level of care, treatment, and attention as Dr. Footer and his staff. Many of my friends and family also see Dr. Footer and we would never dream of going anywhere else. I hope he never retires!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Footer... He is pragmatic, experienced, kind. His approach has been great and he has always personally followed up with me, not a nurse (although all the support staff at his office are great). One of the big pluses is that he is a sole practitioner meaning I always see or speak with him, not a different doctor every time. I was referred to him by another doctor and I'm so glad to be under his care. I drive from Arlington to see him and it is totally worth it.

Had my first pregnancy taken care of through Dr. Footer in 2015. He is amazing!!! I am high risk with progesterone issues and he worked with me through Maternal Fetal Medicine weekly (had to take progesterone the entire pregnancy!). He was very understanding and after delivery, checked on me daily. Love this guy!! I hope he sticks around long enough to deliver all my future pregnancies!

Dr. Robert Footer has cared for my medical needs ever since he started his practice and I don't know what I would have done had I not met him! He is an exceptional doctor and provides the kind of care and attention that I have not seen from any other doctor! I am so blessed to have met him!

I had been a patient of Dr. Footer for over 20 years, due to job change and insurance adjustments I had not been able to go for my yearly check up. I called yesterday and spoke with a woman who introduced herself as Dr. Footer's wife. After putting me on hold for total of 22 minutes and one hang up, she refused to order a refill for my cholesterol medication. Raising her voice, I was told " no refill until you make an appointment", I told her due to work it could be a couple of weeks before I can committee to an appointment and I have no more medication left ( my pharmacy had been calling Dr. Footer's office for 12 days), she told me, " how is that our problem". I dropped the called. I regret that I have to move on and this woman has such negative affect and terrible manners.
