7 years agoI've never had a more positive experience with any other physicians office. Dr. Samaan's staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, I've never had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so to be seen, and there I can always schedule an appointment with only a few days notice. Dr. Samaan himself is very attentive, he goes above and beyond the level of care most other physicians provide, he takes his time with me and really seems to listening to what I have to say to get to the root of any issue I might have. I owe him a debt of gratitude

5 years agoIn May 2017, my mother who was 95 years old at the time felt weak. Doctors from Holy Cross hospital told me her aortic valve was not functioning efficiently due to calcium build up as a result of old age. She was referred to Dr. Rodney Samaan for further evaluation and treatment. I'm so grateful to have found him. Dr. Samaan is one of the nicest and kindest doctors I know. He is very personable, responsive, and accommodating. He treated my mom for almost 2 years and referred us to Dr. Raj Khandwalla in Cedars Sinai who teamed up with Dr. Raj Makkar who successfully performed a TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve replacement) surgery. I will forever be grateful to these doctors, we will be celebrating mom's 97th birthday next week. Dr. Samaan is still actively involved in my mom's recovery and cardiac rehabilitation.

5 years agoDr. Samaan is a treasure - he should be teaching office practice manners to medical residents just before they finish their clinicals. Most importantly, he listens and does not interrupt. He's not judgmental. He's instructive without being preachy or talking over my head (or down to me as if I'm a child). He goes over all options for treating or preventing issues. He's got a marvelous sense of humor and isn't afraid to employ it. He's 21st century to the max - responding to email via the patient portal system. He has office hours on SATURDAY. He's confident, inspires confidence in his advice, and yet, he's egoless. Don't be put off by the fact that he shares office space with a cardio rehab center in a building that is in need of a face lift - it makes perfect sense financially and we get to see him on a Saturday. AND, your budget won't need an emergency infusion of cash. He's a rarity in today's climate of greed. He's taking care of his own quality of life in addition to caring about each of his patients. His memory is amazing. With his roster of patients, he still remembers small details of my life and asks about them during most visits. Like I said: he's a treasure.
