I want to preface this review by saying that I am a medical provider myself (nurse practitioner) and rarely give poor reviews, but I felt it my duty to alert others of Dr. Khoury's negligent care. Hopefully he will see this review and it will make him more self aware and a better physician. I was pregnant with twins in my 3rd trimester when I began having severe headaches for a day despite Tylenol. Luckily, I invested in a home BP machine. On this night my BP readings were consistently 160s/90s. This concerned me because throughout my pregnancy my BP had been in the normal range 120/80. Dr. Khoury was on-call. He was the only Dr in the practice I had not met with in the office. I told him all of this information and his initial response was that I could come into the office the NEXT DAY. I then replied that I was in my last trimester with twins, had a severe headache, and my home BP readings were abnormal - all risk factors/symptoms of preeclampsia. Was he not concerned about my condition?! He then nonchalantly responded, "well yes I guess we can check you tomorrow in the office but if you are so concerned go to the L&D unit." Thank goodness I went because my BP was indeed 170/95 on arrival requiring STAT IV BP medications, mag sulfate, and immediate admission to the high risk perinatal unit. After I was admitted, Dr. Khoury continued as my provider into the next day since he was still on-call. I gave him the benefit of doubt and reasoned an instance of poor clinical judgment as to why he did not strongly recommend that I come to the hospital based on my history & symptoms. But his negligent care cont. After 24 hours on IV drugs my BP stabilized. Dr. Khoury came in and told me that since my BP was normal I would be discharged with close follow-up in the outpatient office for one week until my babies reached 34 weeks gestation. This sounded strangely premature to me considering how high my BP was, but I went with it. Shortly after he left, the perinatologist team then came in to see me after him. When I shared that I would be going home- the team said I definitely would NOT be discharged until I delivered because I needed to be closely monitored. Clearly Dr. Khoury had not even talked to the team about my appropriate plan of care before discussing it with me! At that point, I no longer wanted him providing my care nor delivering my children. Thankfully his colleague Dr. Del Ninno safely performed my emer C section when my BP indeed spiked again a few days later. I was admitted for 8 days! I hate to think what could have happened if I wasn’t a medical professional with the information that I knew. Exercise caution!

August of 2021 Dr. Khoury performed a Endometrial ablation on me because I was bleeding for 4 month. I was told that once I had this surgery I could not have kids. I was fine with that since I already had two and did not want anymore. Surgery went fine and three weeks later I went to see Dr. Khoury for a post op check up. I asked him during the visit if I needed to go back on birth control or was the surgery 100%. He told me there was not change I could get pregnant after this. I was like okay cool. Fast forward 9 months later, I got really sick, stomach was hurting so bad to the point I couldn't sit up, throwing up everything including water. My first though wasn't that I was pregnant but I had some type of infection or virus. One of my friends told me to take a test. I did and found out I was pregnant. I did not have the baby because with this type of procedure the baby would have not made it full term. I write this to say that Dr. Khoury needs to really be careful with the way he practices. For a year now I have been so depressed about this whole situation. I had to go through a lot. Also pay out money for doctors visits and another procedure. All this could have been avoided if he just put me on Birth Control. Dr. Khoury needs to give up practicing.

Dr Khoury delivered my 3 kids and I am grateful for his care. I had an outstanding experience with him during my prenatal visits, actual deliveries, and post-natal follow ups. Dr Khoury is extremely detail oriented, patient, and he genuinely cares. He took time to explain to me the induction process and made sure I am comfortable with the plan. He is very professional, ethical, and uses best practice. I had a wonderful and amazing experience from start to finish. Dr Khoury is terrific and I highly recommend him. Thank you so much for the difference you make in the lives of your patients! Your kindness, sincere caring, and concern made everything better and a memorable experience.

Dr. Khoury delivered my son in December 2020. He was by far the best OB-GYN that I’ve ever visited. He did a great job walking me through the whole process in the simplest and most-patient friendly manner. He also has excellent bed-side manners and always did his best to put me at ease. Dr. Khoury was also easily accessible and always ready to answer any questions I had. Excellent service provided on every level - truly the best doctor!
