Dr. Farhan is a dual fellowship- trained in Spine surgery and Musculoskeletal oncology. He completed his fellowship in Spine surgery at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). where he acquired extensive training and experience treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar degenerative disease, spine trauma and infections.
Dr. Farhan is also a fellowship trained in musculoskeletal oncology at University of California Davis Health (UCDH) with expertise in bone and soft tissue sarcomas patients. He specializes in limb salvage resections and reconstructions for bone and soft tissue sarcomas of the extremities.
Dr. Farhan is an active member of North America of Spine Society (NASS) and Connective tissue oncology society (CTOS). He has received his medical degree with Honors from Al-Qadisiya University College of Medicine in Iraq. He completed his orthopedic residency training at the King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) in Jordan

3 months agoPrior to my hip replacement surgery I sat down with my doctor to discuss Dr. Farhan credentials. We were both convinced that I had chosen the most qualified surgeon possible. I got my new hip and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made! Never had bruising, pain is gone and the scar looks so good. Dr. Farhan is very involved with his patients and I always felt cared for and informed. I can recommend Dr. Farhan with complete confidence and if my other hip turns on me (or a knee goes out) I'll definitely see Dr. Farhan.

a year agoDr. Farhan has been a great orthopedic physician completing my hip replacement. Heโs a very good and nice surgeon asking and answering any questions I had. Not only is he awesome but the staff is also they are always on top of the paperwork and have been so helpful when I have questions. The visit from beginning to end was very pleasant. I definitely will be going back here for further orthopedic needs.

11 months agoDr. Farhan did a great job replacing my broken hip. I walked unassisted within 8 days and went back to work in 10 days. Back to riding bikes and motorcycles after seven weeks. He claims the hip will outlast me.... we'll see.

a year agoI'm so happy after my surgery, I was so lost in pain unable to walk he really took his time to correct my old surgery and give me a new hip. I'm alive again. I injoy walking around now. he spent 4&1/2 hour's makeing sure my leg was the same length and that I can back to work. I really recommend him as a surgeon, thank you Dr.Farhan you are my hero.

a year agoFrom the moment I broke my ankle, to the last time I saw Dr Farhan. I am now full of titanium and will forever set off the metal detectors at any airport! My scar is minimal! My foot was dislocated and the Fibula broken. He did a fantastic job of fixing it. Iโm walking , and driving , and all in 4 months! Thank you Dr Farhan!!
