I just delivered my son at Banner Casa Grande L&D on July 30th. Thankfully it was a smooth delivery and me and my son are healthy and well thanks to the amazing, caring, and attentive staff. This was my first delivery and so I was very anxious going in. Despite this, the staff handled me incredibly well and walked me through the process every step of the way.
I specifically want to mention my amazing nurse, Marina, who was there from beginning to end. She was so attentive and patient, and did everything in her power to make me comfortable, I'm truly grateful for her efforts and those of the other nurses as well. Ashley and Fatima also did a great job in looking over us. Doctor Walter delivered our son, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend any mother to deliver here.
My wife was scheduled for a C-section on June 5, 2024, at Banner Casa Grande, and I cannot express enough how grateful we are for the exceptional care we received. The operation was a complete success, thanks to the highly skilled and compassionate medical team.
From the moment we arrived, the nurses in Labor and Delivery were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made a potentially scary procedure feel manageable and even comforting. The pain management for my wife was outstanding; she did not feel any pain during her entire three-day stay and even three weeks post-discharge, which speaks volumes about the level of care provided.
Although the room and location were a bit outdated, everything was impeccably clean and well-stocked. The food was also surprisingly good, which added to our positive experience.
Every step of the process, from pre-op to discharge and post-op, was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Banner Casa Grande has never let us down, but this experience has truly set a new standard. We will undoubtedly be returning here for our next child. Thank you to the entire team for making this a remarkable and smooth journey for our family.
I was in the emergency room on July 24,2024. I told them I fell in the bathroom and "hurt" my left leg. They sent me to X-ray and found out that my leg was broke-gave me a boot and sent me on my way. Nobody did a hands on examination. So I wore the boot for 6-7 weeks and was told my leg brake was 95% heeled and to take it easy. My right foot was hurting me and was told it was from not walking on it. We it continued to hurt so the orthopedic dr sent me for an MRI for the leg and I asked why not the ankle and foot to but he insisted he get the area of my break. So I go to Ankle and Foot and he sent me information a MRI of the ankle and foot. Turns out my ankle was broke ALSO. Banner ER missed it because the weren't considered with it. I should have had a hands on exam in the ER. Now I am going to miss work for another 6 weeks because your doctors were not doing a thorough exam.
** THE BEST HOSPITAL FOR MOM AND BABY - GREAT L&D EXPERIENCE **
I want to share my wonderful experience with delivering my second child here a few days ago. I will start off by saying I have severe birth trauma from my first son at an out of state hospital, I am not the easiest patient per se because of that, and I have very bad anxiety.
I had a scheduled induction here at exactly 37 weeks as I was considered high risk. From the first arrival coming into registration to leaving 2 days later mom & baby completely healthy, I could not have had it go any better. This hospital does not treat you like a number, they truly care about your wellbeing and patient outcomes.
I want to express my gratitude for all of the nurses who helped me have a successful induction and delivered my healthy baby boy seamlessly, I will never forget any of you. Each and every nurse i had were the NICEST, most caring, compassionate people i have ever met. I seriously thank each and every nurse and staff I had contact with at any part of my journey. I am not exaggerating when i say these L&D nurses are AMAZING. They all listened to my concerns, my fears, and all my many questions with patience and compassion. I know we all have different experiences, but trust me when i say that this hospital has a GREAT L&D team, i sadly know what itโs like to have the complete opposite and no one deserves that. In a weird way; this has healed me and helped me understand what itโs like to have a great birth experience, and for that iโm forever grateful. I could go on and on, but it was just so wonderful and a blessing to finally have a great experience. I want to thank Dr. Lundie and Dr. Willms for their great care, once again they both truly listened to my concerns and this would not have been possible without them and their extensive knowledge.
Dr lundie has great bedside manner and has always made me feel comfortable at the hospital and in clinic, she is super relatable (and funny!) which helps a lot too. I seriously recommend her as a OBGYN.
And it was my first time meeting CMO, Dr. Willms and it was a honor to have him deliver my son. I heard great things about him before meeting him, and they are all true. It went so well, and he did great at reassuring me of my fears during delivery and postpartum.
This experience at Banner Casa Grande has changed my life. Thank you again -
- The hospital was also welcoming, clean, comfortable and the food was surprisingly really good. My husband even wanted to eat there instead of going and buying food it was that good!
You can tell this hospital is ran by compassionate people who truly care.
My 80 year old Mom had a very bad fall. The nurses were very good with her during her stay there for 5 days. Very clean and all the medical staff was very attentive. The nurses managed her pain medication to make sure she was comfortable. She also enjoyed the food that was nutritious and satisfying.
