Sondos Al Sad is a Family and Community Medicine expert. Dr. Al Sad completed her medical school in Jordan, finished her Family Medicine Residency Program and Masterโs in Public health and Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky. She is a nationally certified menopause practitioner from the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), which equips her to provide the most current and up-to-date clinical service to women who are going through their transition to menopause. She is bilingual; speaks both English and Arabic fluently.
Her areas of expertise include womenโs health, immigrant health, cognitive behavioral therapy for non-psychotic mental illnesses, public health, community medicine, and health equity. Dr. Al Sad believes in a holistic clinical approach, so she actively listens to patientsโ concerns regarding their presentations and passionately seeks answers for them. Dr. Al Sadโs current research interests include womenโs health, Muslim health research, patient-centered outcomes, and cost-effective interventions. She has presented her research nationally at academic and community conferences.
She is a leading member of many not-for-profit organizations that aim to serve community engagement, empowerment, and wellness.
