5 years agoI'm in shock that this man has a medical degree. After reading other reviews, I can see others have had the same issues. I accompanied my father to his last two appointments, because on a previous annual physical visit, Dr Al Qaisi had filled out my father's paperwork by just filling in the blanks and not my dad's actual current condition. These next two appointments were so horrible. This doctor was very rude and refused to answer basic questions. He had my father's medications confused, he couldn't remember why he ordered a previous test, and when the appointments took longer than 10 minutes he said come back in two weeks. Twice he said that and literally walked out the door when I was asking questions about my father's lab work. This has been such a horrible experience for my dad who has been I'll. He was treated with such apathy by this man. This is my first review writing, but I feel so strongly about how we were treated and do not want anyone else to have to go through this.

2 years agoHow can this QUACK call himself a doctor!!!! He did NOT read my results correctly! I had to tell him how to do his job!! Praise god the lab and radiology places have portals or I would have not be receiving the proper treatment! I will be reporting him to the board! I believe his wife holds this business down! She is beyond amazing!

7 years agoIn over a year of Drs visits and seeing multiple Drs for my hurt knee, Dr Al Quasi was the first to actually examine it and not just tell me to lose weight. He figured out what was wrong and is working with me to get me proper treatment. Furthermore, instead of just watching and waiting for my iron levels to plummet until I had yet another blood transfusion line my previous doctor had been doing (1 transfusion every 12-18 months) I'm now seeing a hematologist-- like I've been requesting for years! During a recent procedure that was very painful Dr Al Quasi was calm, professional, and tried very hard to cheer me up as well. He's the best doctor I've seen in Bakersfield.

5 years agoThe wait time is extraordinarily long. This doctor has the worst bedside manner. Rude, arrogant and sloppy. Prescribed contra indicated meds to my 14 year old son, without consent, no less. Seems to love kick backs from local dodgy labs and pharma and is generally an awful person. After asking him about an abnormal basic blood panel (CBC), he fired my son off his service. Fine by me. Avoid him if you care about your health, time and peace of mind.

6 years agoBilled my insurance twice for visits I didn't have. Only would refill prescriptions one month at a time requiring to come in and pay for an office visit to get simple refills i.e an inhaler. Rude front office staff. You get to wait for 2 hours for 15 minutes of his time and get rushed out with out all your questions being answered. He's all about the billing not about the patient. Pass on this doctor and you'll be better off.
