The Duncanville Islamic Center was first established in December of 1995 and was located in a small suite, a single unit of its current location at 1419 Acton Avenue, Duncanville, TX 75137. Over the years, the masjid and community expanded and as such began to purchase the rest of the building as the need for growth demanded.
The focus of the Duncanville Islamic Center has evolved far beyond being simply a place of prayer for Muslims and is now a central hub of activities and services filling the needs of the Muslim community in and around the Duncanville area. Besides regular religious services, current programs include educational classes and lectures for both adults and children, youth group programs, and more. Our community consists of nearly every kind of ethnic group found in the Muslim world and beyond which brings a wonderful variety of people to each community activity.

3 years agoThis is a perfect size masjid mashaAllah. The community is filled with welcoming Muslims who will make you feel at home. The Imaam is very helpful and can answer any question you may have about Islam. I'm a convert and have made this masjid my home. They offer free classes for adults to help build your faith (imaan). They also hold camps for the children during the summer and winter breaks.
