In 2015, Dune opened in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles. Our vision was to pay homage to the food we love using the freshest, cleanest, and most local ingredients possible. We were inspired to add the voice of our city to the chorus of beautiful and diverse cultures who call this cuisine their own, and to create our own unique version of the street food of the Levant and the Eastern Mediterranean.

3 months ago10/10 recommend. So flavorful and delicious. It’s always busy and for good reason. My friend who joined me is vegetarian and said the falafel was to die for. My grilled chicken plate was perfect and the portions are great. Two meals in one!

3 months agoAverage food, annoying crowd and service. Clueless hipsters overpaying for average product, as is their wont. The proprietors at Sepan Chicken three blocks away must be so frustrated that their protect is much better and cheaper, yet the oddly bearded privileged smugsters have no clue what they are missing

7 months agoFood is ok. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about. We got the chicken wrap and the fried chicken and hummus. Both had good flavor and were good on their own but just not really worth the time. The fried chicken was definitely not fried chicken it was a grilled chicken.

2 months agoI had a lamb n hummus platter. Tasty but I cannot justify paying almost $40 for the 3 super tiny bite size lamb portions.

2 years agoI cannot recommend this place enough. The flavors are so bright, so complex, and so well balanced. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was just incredible. With all of the traditional fried chicken places opening around LA, this fresh Mediterranean take definitely deserves a look. When I went, they didn’t have any indoor seating; not sure how that will change as things reopen more and more. You order at the counter, and food comes out in about 10 minutes. They have outdoor seating (3-4 tables) on the sidewalk.
