Dunya Antwan

When I went in the first time, the main dentist Dr. Dunya Antwan said one tooth could likely be saved - and then she said when I returned for the second visit that, “Oh no I never said that - and we’re gonna have to pull the tooth”; and she tried to make it seem like I was delusional and that I could just afford to have an implant. She then coyly and condescendingly said, “Oh, so you want a partial, and not an implant?” I said ‘No. I just can’t afford that.’ And then from there she was extremely rude the rest of the two hour duration of my root canal - and when she was giving me my root canal she was EXTREMELY ROUGH and hurt my teeth very bad. She also was very rough on my mother’s teeth as well. When I was done and when we were done after the two hours she made fun of me to one of her new employees saying, “Oh, ha ha! You’re not so tough!” Because she waited thirty minutes mid-procedure and worked on an elderly man (WHO SHE WAS ALSO SUPER RUDE TO!), this allowed the numbing agent to ware off. She then drilled extremely hard into my tooth as if on purpose! She was laughing at me because when she was extremely rough on my tooth I jolted out of the chair because she just probed right into my tooth very roughly and jerkingly - and she said, “You know what, we would normally give an anesthetic for that area of the mouth” and I asked why she didn’t and she just kept going in circles about why she didn’t numb my nerves there while making absolutely no sense. I honestly think she did it out of spite. I think she intentionally wanted to hurt me because I refused to pay for implants. She also spoke under her breath about other patients complaining about their crowns and fillings falling out because of her. To add to my terrible experience with them: the front desk lady is and was extremely rude to me and my mother who my mom is super sweet! They never called my mom back because I canceled my appointments with them! The lady at the front desk is a total monster! When I called back later and asked for my records the same psychopathic front desk woman at first played dumb and said that I would have to pay for my dental records! then said I would have to come in to pick up a paper copy! refusing to send me a virtual copy! Once I told them it was against the law which she already knew, she agreed to send me a copy. Do not go there!!

My front tooth broke on Saturday and they got me in first thing Monday morning even though they were busy. Everyone was professional, kind and empathetic. I would highly recommend this dental office.

I've always been apprehensive about going to the dentist, so I have to share this for anyone who is too! I had an amazing experience at this dental office. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the dentist and staff were gentle and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable throughout my entire visit and would highly recommend them! if you're on the fence and looking for a good dental office to go to, do not look any further, just call.
