For me, the road to Kaiser Permanente started in the land of the pharaohs—Egypt—where I was born. My parents came to this country with the hope of pursuing the American dream and a better life for their firstborn child—me! My parents instilled in me the ideals and mentality of treating others during their most desperate times. Being a pediatrician in the hospital allows me the opportunity to treat children when they’re in a delicate condition, and provide comfort for their families during a stressful time.

a month agoThe staff is attentive. The nurses are our heroes. They took care of everything all of the time. As a thank you for their service we left them treats for their break room for everyone. The most demanding job on the planet and yet they still love to help people.

a month agoMy 9 years old daughter complained about pain in her left ear and could not hear from that ear. We rushed her to urgent care and arrived at 8:48 pm thinking we made it because they close at 9:00 pm. Upon arrival we first met with the attending nurse. We asked to be checked in but the attending nurse said she cannot because urgent care closes at 9:00 pm and there are still others waiting to be seen. My wife said thereโs still 12 minutes why canโt we check in and just wait until seen. Then she said she needed to check with her manager. Anna the receptionist manager stated immediately theyโre not accepting patients anymore because doctors will just send us to emergency because they have to go home. This is why emergency rooms are packed with โnon-emergency โ patients because urgent care are not taking patients until such time that they have to because they have to go home. My wife tried to convince her to accept our daughter but she adamantly refused and was very rude. She told my wife โlet me have your name and kaiser#, also your daughterโs. Then my wife said why will you finally check her in?but Anna the manager said โno I will report you to membership servicesโ. She was the one who doesnโt want to do an extra mile for helping Kaiser members, but then she is the one who has the guts to report to membership. Anyway, we tried going to emergency since we are already in Fontana Kaiser but emergency is packed and 6-8 hrs waiting. So we just turned around and go home and this little girl suffering from ear discomfort will wait til tomorrow to be seen. VERY VERY VERY POOR SERVICE! Kaiser pays good salary and benefits & it is not fair of you donโt do your job!

in the last weekSince I signed up with Kaiser 20+ years ago, Iโve received nothing but the best in doctors, nurses, technicians; in everything from custodial workers to specialists, everyone has always treated me like the most special patient they have ever had. I could not ask for anything better!

a month agoThis is such a bad horrible hospital the wait in the ER is way to long my dad was recently there and nurses and Doctors were not very helpful one nurse came in and just threw the urine collector and told him we need a sample he was in excruciating pain could not even get up or move from the bed he was very weak and they did not help him my 70 year old mom and son were the ones who helped him up as he almost fell and none of the dam staff cared. Been there for other reasons never again this is the worse hospital in the area

a week agoThey failed to honor my wife's appointments twice. Need an ultrasound now, waiting for over two months, then get notified the appointment was cancelled. They refused to reschedule it for us. I'm in disbelief at the poor communication from their staff. I guess my wife and I will not be having an ultrasound for our baby's 1st trimester.
