Falafel Flare Hayward

Very good food, spacious inside. We dined in and enjoyed the kids pizza, falafel and even tried some tasty Turkish sweets. Food was delicious and prepared well. Everything came hot and fresh to order.

Stepped into this clean restaurant welcomed by the guy at the front. He recommended the falafel wrap without tahini, which proved vegan; its flavor, reminiscent of a Taco Bell chalupa—a delightful surprise for discerning palates.

Best gyros in the bay, amazing flavor, good amount of food for the price. Great customer service, fast, also halal. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been on a falafel dry spell, and by dry spell, I mean every single one I’ve tried in years has been hella dry. Not so at Falafel Flare! The falafel were soft and the herbs inside them combined with the chickpea meal to create a nice, balanced flavor. I dug the pickled radish in the wrap and wish they’d included more! My only complaint is that the flavors were a bit tame, so I’d definitely recommend asking for the hot sauce, too—and more radish! Interestingly, this place used to be called Falafel Flame. The front door had the “m” peeled away, which is now replaced by an “R”. I want the 411 on that situation! It made me laugh to see the obvious change to the name.

Good food and good size portions. Only negative was very limited service and staff interactions. You place your order on a screen, self pay & get your drinks. So if it's your first time it can be a little difficult. But a ton of space and great parking.
