4 weeks agoWe were visiting from Arizona and had been wanting some Mediterranean food (not available in our community at home) so gave Falafel Of Santa Cruz a try. We ordered a falafel plate and a gyros plate. They both came with fresh pita bread. The falafels were nice and crispy and the gyros was cut into small chunks but nicely cooked and tasted good. The vegetables and lettuce were fresh and the yogurt topping combined nicely to make both very good meals for a fast food takeout. They even threw in two free baklavas for our wait. Flaky and delicious! All in all two generous and tasty meals for a little over $30.

10 months agoWedding catering from Falafel of Santa Cruz was absolutely incredible! A lot of people told us that no one remembers the food from a wedding. They were wrong. We are so glad we took our time to choose Sam and the Falafel team, our guests made so many comments about the food afterward, it was such a hit. Working with Sam was very easy and he had an amazing menu picked out for us in no time that covered all of our guests needs from meat eaters to vegetarians and vegans. Cheese pies and stuffed dates as appetizers and unbelievably tender and flavorful filet mignon and chicken kababs were accompanied by at least 10 different sides that delighted us and our guests. Sam and his team arrived early which relieved stress from the coordinator and were amazing from start to finish. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgable about the food -- they guided our guests through the extensive and exotic spread, keeping everything full, tidy, and looking great til the end. And even packed up leftovers for us to have at our hotel after! Thank you so much Sam and the Falafel of Santa Cruz team!

a year agoFriendly shop... food was awesome.. I felt like a treasure in an ocean... it's halal, when I asked them there is no certificate the lady was kind enough to bring the big box of carton which had HALAL stamp on it. Would defined recommend everyone. Garlic French fries. Chicken kebab, lamb kebab there special burgers... everything was made with love.. so tasty so delicious.. can't wait to go again..
