Established in 2017, Falafel & Shawarma Planet proudly serves a delicious selection of Mediterranean food to our Sacramento neighbors. Our family moved to the U.S. in 2014 and realized the community needed to experience authentic and traditional Middle Eastern favorites like our homemade falafel, hummus, shawarma, chicken, beef, and lamb gyros. Unable to find the taste we were looking for after visiting many places in California, we decided to open Falafel & Shawarma Planet to share our favorite recipes with the community. Whether guests crave a fresh made-from-scratch meal or a delicious dessert, everyone can expect a yummy and enjoyable dining experience with us.

6 months agoWe got the double meat lamb shawarma plate, chicken shawarma plate and special fries. I liked the fluffy rice and tangy salad a lot. But I absolutely lovvvved the hummus. Omg! It was so velvety smooth and addicting I couldnโt get enough of it. Next time Iโll skip the fries and just get the hummus. The fries were bland despite it being doused in sauce.

12 months agoWe had the pleasure of dining at Falafel & Shawarma Planet, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was an absolute delight โ every bite bursting with flavor and authenticity. This is a labor of love for the family who owns and operates this establishment. The service was impeccable, and attentive yet unobtrusive, making our meal even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a place where both the food and service excel, but Falafel & Shawarma Planet has mastered both. The passion and dedication of this family-owned gem shine through in every aspect of the dining experience. We left with our taste buds satisfied and our hearts full. Without a doubt, we'll be returning to savor more of their delectable dishes. Falafel & Shawarma Planet has earned a permanent place in our list of favorite restaurants.

a month agoThe guy behind the counter was rude, and not friendly at all. They have sign on the window for a special and wonโt honor and wouldnโt explain why. The place dirty, does not have any utensils or napkins. The chicken Shawarma was awful. The chicken was dry.

7 months agoCame here for dessert after a long day downtown. Knafeh was great and made fresh to order. Only suggestion would be to serve that amazing Palestinian sage tea which would have been the perfect complement. ๐ต๐ธ ๐

4 months agoFood and service was great. I had the falafel sandwich. It was exactly what I was looking for. Being vegan, thereโs not a lot of options in the South Sacramento area so I really appreciated the option here!
