This was a very dirty place. Things out of order, some things expired. Staff were not helpful or friendly. Made me feel unwelcomed.

They are very Middle Eastern and the store smells like chicken.

I have read all the reviews and have been getting meat from Abu Ahmed since he opened this market. This is a traditionally market which means you can negotiate your price which most people are completely unfamiliar with. The best thing to do is make your order in person and inspect before you purchase, just like you would anywhere else. You only need to call to verify he’s open, after you determine you like the meat then after you can call in an order. I can say with confidence the best steak and lamb chops I’ve ever had has been from Abu Ahmed. And it is 100 percent Zabihah Halal, that is a fact anyone saying otherwise has not literally witnessed the entire process, I have and Abu Ahmed is honest and straightforward. It is a traditional market so if you don’t want to bargain for bulk orders go somewhere else.

Wesam is great, he knows his stuff, also the meat quality was good... highly recommended since he is able to custom cut according to what you want.

I wish I could give zero stars. I believe the man I was dealing with is the owner, he is extremely unprofessional. Second time I called in advance to place my order for meat. I get there and they haven't even started my order, not like they were busy or anything. Also all 4 people working were not wearing masks. I said that wearing a mask is still required by the state. He said if I don't like it I can shop somewhere else. Last time I go to this place!
