2 months agoThis place has undoubtedly some of the best shawarma Iโve ever had. Itโs so well seasoned and tender, and not too greasy or fatty. We also had the potato sandwich, which also amazing. I mean, itโs mashed potatoes in a sandwich! I was expecting it to be delicious, and it was. The owner is so kind, and goes above and beyond to create a comfortable atmosphere and great food. Go show him some love!!!

3 years agoSmall business with really tasty food. I came across this business one Friday night. Price is definitely high considering $8.50 for a chicken sandwich. But owner is super nice and down to earth person!

6 months agoFood was wonderful. Maybe the best schwarma I've had. Our chat with Albert, the owner, was even better. What a pleasure! Will definitely be back when we're in the neighborhood!

5 years agoThey have re-opened and updated the place as of 05/19/19. This place wasn't closed for health violations they were closed for construction. The stickers from City of Chicago are for several permit reasons. This is one of my top 3 favorite middle eastern restaurants. Been going here for over 10 years. Food is great and real friendly service. From pita sandwhiches to full plates, good value for the money. And everything is fresh and BYOB. Just left and the food is delicious as usual.

2 years agoReally good food! Everything was tasty and the owner was very friendly! Got the chicken shish kabob entree, which came with rice, chicken, salad and pita bread. Also got the shawarma sandwich and the falafel sandwich. Definitely will be back! Make sure to grab a menu while you're in there.
