Garlic has the absolute best lahmajun in the SF Bay Area. It's just like you are in Istanbul! Beyond amazing! All of the other items on the menu are also super delicious. Very high quality ingredients and everything has that extra special home made taste. I also highly recommend the lentil soup to start. It's so delicious and healthy. All of the food is totally amazing and authentically Turkish!

The 5-star falafel wrap is fantastic, with flavorful falafel in fluffy pita. The veggie appetizer combo offers a mix of tasty Mediterranean flavors. Overall, a delicious experience worth trying. The ambiance is fantastic – bright, cozy, and inviting. It adds to the overall dining experience, making it even more enjoyable. The cheese flatbread wasn't to my taste,It didn't quite meet my expectations compared to the other delicious offerings.

Garlic offers a cozy Mediterranean vibe with a decent selection of vegetarian options for a late Sunday lunch. Highlights include the Five Stars Falafel and Chicken Gyro Wrap, both earning a solid rating for their flavor and quality. The appetizer combo impresses with variety of delicious flavors. While the Cheese Flatbread falls slightly short on expectations, the overall experience at Garlic is recommendable for a flavorful culinary journey. Overall: decent food, middling atmosphere, but great service! Service was great! When I came by at around 11am, it seemed like I was the first customer, or at least I was treated as such. They were very eager and helpful! I got a a beef/lamb gyro plate which ended up costing around $20 post tax. Overall, not a super impressive meal, the meat ended up being chewier and dryer than my expectations for meat off a spit, and the pita, salad, and hummus weren’t anything to expound on much. The rice was good though! In terms of atmosphere, it felt like there was something missing. With the way tables are situated, it would seem like the goal is to be slightly more upscale than other fast-service options, but I can still tell that we’re in what used to be Popeyes. Maybe some light music in the background, more room division, something of that nature would be nice. I also think the menu is ever so slightly confusing, and a reorganization would make it much friendlier to new customers!

I got the combo gyro plate and was honestly quite underwhelmed. It was nicely presented, but overall quite light on flavor. The meats were on the dry side, and the hummus and meats weren't seasoned that much. Most flavorful thing on the plate was the salad.
