The service was good overall, though as the night gets busier, you may need to flag down a server. The place could use better air conditioning as it gets extremely hot inside. The food was average; I sampled the jollof rice. The drinks were good, though a bit pricey. It's very crowded but has a great atmosphere, with a nice hookah lounge and excellent music, including hip hop, Afro beats, and reggae. Overall, it's a good spot to enjoy a night out.
Overpriced cocktail drinks and extremely uncomfortable chairs/couches - - even in the VIP section. (You can feel the wooden frames pressing into your back and legs under the cheap limited cushioning.) We paid for what was supposed to be an hopping after-party with Afrobeats and Amapiano, but the VIP section was almost completely empty until we left around 1:30am (see video here) and the DJ mostly played hip hop (not much African music). I also didn't appreciate his smokey it was - - very poor ventilation. It seemed to have a better atmosphere outside the VIP area! Could be a good place if you want a hookah with coffee friends in the general area, but not for what's advertised as a monthly Amapiano Around the World After Party.
Good hookah, sushi, and drinks. I did find it strange that they requested to hold a card even when I offered to pay in cash. Otherwise, the waitress was pleasant and attentive. It wasnโt very crowded for a Friday night.
One of my favorites hookah spots in the DMV! It has a chill vibe, they play good music (sometimes too loud though) and the hookah flavors are pretty delicious! Came here randomly Saturday night and was disappointed they didnโt have the White Grape with Mint flavor (it used to be my favorite here!) but we got the Watermelon instead and it was good.
We were deciding on a place to chill on a Sunday night (long weekend) but we came across this place.
It's a perfect place for some decent sushi, hookah, drinks and some dancing and yes it's true.
It's amazing, we asked on put on the NBA playoffs game and they gladly did. They have two spaces, one on the outside and one inside with a dance floor.
The food is pretty good, hookah is good, drinks were good. There was a salsa dancing event thingy going on as well. The servers are good and accommodating.
