Georgetown Islamic Center (GIC) was established in 2018 to establish a prayer space and community center for the growing Muslim population in Georgetown, Hutto, and North Round Rock. GIC purchased a 6.5 acre property with 2 buildings for $2.4 million in March 2022. It is currently being utilized as a Masjid and hosts a wide variety of programs for the community.

a year agoI offered Asar here while I was traveling. It was nice and clean. People were friendly. Exchanged Salam cordially. I wish visited the time when the mosque was full of people to have more chances to interact. Good parking space. Shaded area to sit. Separate Sisters entrance. Wheelchair accessible.

a year agoIt's truly heartwarming to witness the rapid growth of this Masjid. The sense of community here is powerful, thanks to the dedicated volunteers and the inspiring programs led by the Imam. I feel blessed to live nearby and have the opportunity to join in prayer here. It's more than just a place of worship; it's a thriving community that I'm grateful to be a part of.
